Building a Simple and Cheap Wind Power Generator Using Scrap Microwave Parts!
I'm so excited to share this new video with you guys after so much time of being absent! I hope you were able to learn something from this video and be inspired to pick up some tools!
Please do share, like, and subscribe if you enjoyed what you watched today! It is very greatly appreciated!
This is a bit of a prototype build to learn the basics of building a power generator from scratch. The microwaves are easily available for free in most cases and don't even need to be operational in order to serve as parts! I found the best source to be my local appliance store, as they often take microwaves from homes for disposal during replacement., and were very happy to let me take them for free.
This DIY generator will produce about 15 volts at a moderate turn by hand. Unfortunately I do not yet know the total output wattage that it is capable of, but I will absolutely update you as I get around to testing it all out when it's finally up on a tower!
Having this turbine/solar combo will give me peace of mind and more opportunities to experiment in future videos!
Thank you so much for watching!
Best regards,
-Tate

How I Made a Powerful Powdered Coffee Creamer Flamethrower!
Переглядів 27 тис.2 роки тому
I decided to finally build myself a coffee creamer (non-dairy) fueled flamethrower! It doesn't quite have the same kick as the liquid fueled version, but this is much safer and more interesting if you ask me. I've wanted to experiment with harnessing the power of coffee creamer in this way for quite awhile, and after looking at the other attempts on UA-cam, I decided that I would give it a try ...
Phase One of my Vintage Step Van Conversion: Will it Move Again After 17 Years of Sitting?!
Переглядів 20 тис.2 роки тому
This video covers the basic work behind getting this beast of a van rolling under her own power again. It's a 1973 International 1210MSC with a 345 V8 gas engine. The running gear is mostly from another model of International truck, designated "1210." It's a pretty rare van from what I've been able to find and getting my hands on parts has been a challenge. But I know that once this project is ...
D.I.Y. Scrap Metal Auto-Turret (RaspberryPi Auto-Tracking Airsoft Sentry?!)
Переглядів 696 тис.3 роки тому
Ordinarily I would explain why I built a project first... but frankly, the answer this time is "just because I wanted to!" So this is how I built my homemade autonomous AND manually controlled airsoft sentry turret! This project was a great introductory project to the world of RaspberryPi for me personally. If you choose to replicate this project, there isn't all that much to it if you approach...
How to Build an Air Compressor From Scratch! (Fridge Compressor | Complete Build!)
Переглядів 103 тис.3 роки тому
Long story short, my air compressor broke and it was time for a new one! I did some research and couldn't find many complete videos on how to build a homemade air compressor, and so, I decided to create my own. I hope you find this video useful!! DIY air compressors can be built for much less cost than simply buying one, and this was a fun excuse to do some playing with refrigerator compressors...
Building a No-Weld Woodgas Generator! (A Functional Gasifier Built W/ a Hand Drill and Grinder?!)
Переглядів 2,1 млн3 роки тому
This project and video were created as a response to many of the comments that I received from my last DIY gasifier video. I realized that I had taken my ample tool selection for granted and decided that I would make an effort to bring substantial woodgas generators down to a level where they can be build for less than $100 in tools alone. No welding equipment required!! This was quite a simple...
How to Build... a Friend?? (DIY Human Automaton, AKA "Igor")
Переглядів 37 тис.3 роки тому
This video was all about finally "making" a friend... For a long time I have been interested in the idea of automatons. The old-time skill, craftsmanship, and innovation is something that I found a lot of beauty in. These mechanical masterpieces were nothing short of magic for their time, and the skill of creating them has since lost most interest. So, today I hope you enjoy watching my attempt...
Building An Updated Invisibility Shield... For Chris Ramsay!?!
Переглядів 7 млн3 роки тому
This was built out of request from another UA-camr by the name of "Chris Ramsay." I hadn't planned on doing another invisibility project so soon, but I welcomed the opportunity to try out some new things with this design! Special thanks to him for reaching out and choosing me for this build. This was quite the challenge, but I hope we all learned something from it! I hope you enjoyed this video...
How I Built a Small (10 minutes of air) Underwater Breathing Device! ( Building AND Safe Testing!)
Переглядів 34 тис.3 роки тому
Alright, this is, hands down, the most fun thing I've built in a good long time! XD I know homemade under diving or breathing systems can be very dangerous, so I took a few extra steps to ensure my own safety before ever getting in the water. Everything I used to build this fun little rig is readily available on Amazon for a reasonably low cost. That being said, should you try to build it? Defi...
How to Build Spring-Jumping Stilts From Scratch!? (New and Improved!!)
Переглядів 33 тис.3 роки тому
This is a continuation of a project that I uploaded a little while back. I upgraded my all-steel jump stilts to these awesome units! These stilts allow you to run extra fast, and jump extra high, with the help of fiberglass vehicular leaf springs that retain energy and rebound the user upon impact with the ground! I hope you enjoyed this fun little update! If you'd like to support me then consi...
Building a convertible Waste-oil Aluminum Foundry/Forge Out of Scrap Metal | Free Aluminum Scrapping

This was another necessity project to further my building capabilities. If you've been interested in building a forge or a foundry and haven't gotten around to it yet, hopefully this can offer you some inspiration! With this foundry/furnace/forge, I can now make my very own cast aluminum parts and pieces for upcoming projects while not running expensive propane while still having the consistent...
Making a Real Invisibility Shield?!
Переглядів 1,2 млн4 роки тому
There was a video that went viral a few months ago of something seemingly impossible. A real invisibility shield! So, naturally I was just as intrigued as everyone else that saw it, but I decided then and there that I would build one. How hard could it be, right? As it turns out, not hard at all. This is the result of some weeks of researching here and there and gathering the necessary material...
Test Driving my DIY Off-Road Mobility Scooter!
Переглядів 22 тис.4 роки тому
A little while back, I uploaded a build video where I showed you how to turn a shopping scooter into an all-terrain machine! Why?? Because I can!! I had to order some parts and make sure everything was running well before I could make a video on it, but here it is!! Hopefully it was everything you expected! Build video: ua-cam.com/video/zJfA7GEHjhg/v-deo.html I hope you guys enjoyed this video,...
How to Turn a K-Mart Shopping Scooter into an Off-Road Beast!!
Переглядів 20 тис.4 роки тому
This was definitely a spur-of-the-moment decision type of project!! I came across a closing sale at my local K-Mart, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab myself this scooter and see what I could do with it! So, I decided to build this homemade off-road scooter thanks to your votes on my UA-cam poll! I really hope that you enjoy this video! (especially now that I figured out the audio....
How to Build a Small, Low cost, High Output Waste Oil Heater! (Free Heat!?)
Переглядів 575 тис.4 роки тому
I built this project out of necessity for the cold weather months and I thought that some of you might be interested in following along. Waste oil burners are not new technology at all, and there are many other videos out there of how to build them in many shapes and forms. This is my attempt. I scaled down my unit by a substantial amount because there is a never a need to over complicate thing...

Store up lots of engine oil! Learn how to filter engine oil! About every 10 hours oil change is needed otherwise you won't have a generator.

"Scratch" would be casting pistons and shit. Actual fabrication. What you did was cobble together a bunch of existing parts. I guess a scratch baked cake in your world would be thawing out a Pepperidge Farms frozen cake and adding some ice cream.

Cool! Do not breathe compressed gas underwater without SCUBA training. You will learn that you can simply die even without running out of air in a number of ways. The most present risk of this that comes to mind would be lung overexpansion. But awesome project man hope to see more!

Idk, it kind if resembles a Honda Accord. If you look past the tracks, the exoskeleton, the entire shape and even the engine. But other than that this is basically just a Honda Accord.

WHERE ARE YOU! Miss not seeing the occasional thing from you! BOW OS THE TRUCK/HOME build coming along? So many now are not posting e even as they used to. Like "Mr Chickadee" & "MtFortresslabs". Though "Advoco Makes" is posting more . I look for all yu'all on the r + umble place & if I find them there I subscribe. If you got your truck going your could make your channel about visiting these others & seeing their inventions & maybe staying to do improvements at different places. You could park free at my place a while with plug in for you truck/home. It could make your channel take off. A tour of inventors & innovators.

Ok, so a “gasifier” is (or utilized as) an alternate fuel source to power a generator (that normally uses oil that is refined into gasoline like we use in our vehicles, here in the US at least), which in turn powers (by generating electricity)other items/things like the angle grinder you used at the end to show your viewers that it works? I don’t have time to rewatch for the answers so I figured Id just ask. Whatever you’re doing looks cool and I may need to do this very soon! Necessity dictates it😬😁 I am aware of alternatives like this, but this is the first video, in depth, i have seen regarding this and other means/processes like it. Thanks for sharing/informing!!✌🏽🇺🇸

Using the large diameter motor out of a front loading washing machine works quite well. Puts out 3 phase which can be rectified with 6 diodes or a three phase rectifier and then regulated down to charge batteries safely.

In your last video you had mentioned that once your system is up and running that you no longer need the fan/blower to keep it going. But you also never showed us the shutting down of the fan/blower. So I was left wondering... Now in this video you stated to shut the entire system down, you simply shut off the fan/blower. So, to be clear, these systems DO NEED some external power to BOTH start it up AND maintain it's operation????
